Benefits advice without the maze
We were founded in 2011 by housing caseworkers and retired tax preparers who kept meeting the same problem: help existed, but nobody could find it.
What we do
Allocation Grant Refund reviews a household's full situation — age, income, housing, dependants and employment history — and maps it against housing assistance schemes, rebates, allocation payments and refundable credits at local, state and federal level.
Where a household qualifies, we prepare the paperwork, submit it, chase the awarding office and appeal when a decision looks wrong. Where it does not, we say so and point to the charities or hardship funds that may still help.
Our caseworkers specialise: one team for seniors and retirees, one for educators, one for families with children. That focus is why our approval rates run well above the national self-filing average.

Our case work is funded by community grants and institutional partners, never by the households we serve.
